Poppy is a 3D printed open source robot, designed and constructed at the Flowers Laboratory in Bordeaux. It uses an array of Dynamixel servo motors and has a lot of software applied.
Poppy's face is a small computer screen capable of displaying various emotions.
In addition to using ROS, a framework called YARP is applied. The software runs on a odroid SBC, and there is a script for installing it on a Raspberry Pi, called Raspoppy (https://github.com/poppy-project/raspoppy).
